Senior Technical Writer

Our client in SAN JOSE, CA is seeking a SENIOR TECHNICAL WRITER with 8-10 years of experience and a passion for communicating along with expertise in turning complex technical concepts into concise, understandable end-user documentation for the target audience.

Excellent writing, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills are crucial as this individual must represent the Technical Publications team at cross-functional meetings internally and interface with OEM customers externally on a regular basis.

Ideal candidate will have a broad writing experience with a very strong technical background, and feel comfortable operating in a fast-paced, dynamic, deadline-driven environment, working either with subject matter experts or directly from engineering documentation and source code, as required.

Considerable experience writing, maintaining, and illustrating the following types of documentation:

• Installation guides
• System administration and configuration guides
• Reference, developer, and API guides
• Technical application notes and knowledge base topics

Senior System Administrator

Our client is  currently seeking an advanced systems administrator to join its IT Operations team. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in the implementation of scalable networks of heterogeneous systems and in working as a member of a large team. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated ability in automating systems administration tasks and authoring policies and procedures that support 24×7 operations. This position includes off hours, on-call responsibilities. In this role, the ideal candidate will;

• Ensure the reliable, correct operation of production services with 24×7 uptime
• Implement scalable, multi-architecture network based services
• Write automation tools for the maintenance of said systems
• Work with development groups as a partner to meet company goals, identify solutions to problems and proactively seek improvements in reliability and the performance of our products.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• 5 or more years of experience as a systems administrator in a large, heterogeneous environment, including at least 2 years experience each as a systems administrator in Solaris and Linux environments
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; capable of writing purchase justifications, training users in complex topics, making presentations to an internal audience, and interacting positively with upper management

Our client in SAN JOSE, CA is looking for a SENIOR USER EXPERIENCE DESIGNER.

The Senior User Experience Designer will be responsible for creating compelling, innovative design solutions that demonstrate the power and value of rich client and web based internet experience. The Senior Designer will collaborate closely with engineering and marketing to conceptualize, design and prototype innovative, highly usable application, UI design patterns and framework for next generation network management applications.  The Senior Designer will work with cross-functional teams including other designers in collaborative development of highly interactive prototypes to demonstrate our client’s vision. There will be a need for close coordination with all relevant stakeholders to ensure that the designs can be adopted and extended across product suites.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Program/Project Manager

Our client in the SUNNYVALE, CA is need of several PROGRAM/PROJECT MANAGERS.

In this role, you will drive and manage the process and lead project teams for the development and delivery of infrastructure/application projects and corporate initiatives.You will work to ensure the our client’s service engineering roadmaps are aligned with product priorities, reinforce these priorities in planning and execution and when necessary, drive the team to make trade-offs. The ideal candidate is a dynamic, results-oriented, detail-driven individual having experience in software and/or system engineering.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Partnering with Program/Project Managers at all levels to define project needs, deliverables and due dates
• Partnering with Program/Project Managers at all levels to combine several project tracts into single program status to feed into larger Dashboard
• Executing to the agreed upon plan and calling out risks/contingency plans as appropriate
• Driving cross-functional team deliverables and schedules
